Repeat Prescriptions

Due to the coronvirus the practice are asking that all prescriptions are sent directly to a local pharmacy. When ordering your scripts please state which pharmacy you wish it to go to. The pharmacies that collect direct from us are Boots Norby Road, Hogarths, Dicksons and Buchanan and Campbell.

Please note all prescriptions requests will be ready to collect from the surgery 48hrs working hours after the prescription is ordered. If you require the prescription to go to a pharmacy this may take longer.

Online Requests

You can request your prescriptions online via the link at the top of this page. This facility is quick, secure and saves time both for you and the practice. It is of course available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Telephone Requests

Telephone prescription requests should be made using the dedicated

Telephone prescription line - 334 2009

This is an automated line which will record all your requests. It is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We hope this dedicated line will make it easier for you to request prescriptions. This will also free up our main phone line to deal with other requests.

In Person Requests

Repeat prescription requests can be hand-delivered and left in the box in the surgery or sent by post. Computer generated prescriptions have a counterfoil with a list of your medications on repeat prescription. Simply tick the appropriate box adjacent to the required medication.
Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you wish the prescription to be returned by post.
Please remember all prescription requests need at least 48 hours to be processed. It could take longer if there are Bank Holidays or if the GP would like to clarify the request.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
